As we all know, J. K. Rowling will soon be publishing the last Harry Potter book. How is the series going to end?
I think I may have stumbled across the answer while searching for material on the Internet...
And thus does a mighty publishing empire come to a sudden demise...
[Hey all of you young parents out there! 20 bucks and I won't slip this photo to your Harry Potter fan children!

I suppose the time has come for me to write up something for the blog. All right, I will endeavor to do so.
First and foremost, I am pleased to say that everything is beginning to wind down as far as the first two movies are concerned. The master DVDs are made and ready to go to the distributor, IndieFlix. No release date as of this writing, but this does mean I can now return once again to making the next movie as well as another project that has spent too long on the back burner.
First and foremost, production has finally begun on the television documentary, Please Stand By: The Invention of Television. I've had one friend read over the "book" I wrote. She told me how
delighted she was with my work and that she thought it was written beautifully. As nice as that is to hear, I think the documentary will be even better. No finishing date as of yet, but, since September of this year marks the 80th anniversary of Philo Farnsworth's break- through transmission with his all electric television system, well, I promise, this documentary will be ready for broadcasting by then.
Secondly, production has also begun on the Harvey Krispin Show. This is a 30 minute radio comedy show I've always wanted to do. Growing up in Chicago, I use to listen to the fabulous Second City radio show and the National Lampoon Radio Hour as well as watched Monty Python's Flying Circus and Saturday Night Live on television. Coupled with the fact that Groucho Marx is one of my long time heroes, well, I've always had the idea of doing a skit based show. Over the years, I've written several skits that I did do some recordings with a few years ago, but, now, I'm re-writing the old material, writing (trying to write) new material and fashion
a 30 minute show with the material. I will be broadcasting a version over the usual community access TV outlets, but the video will be little more than a shot of an old style cathedral style AM radio while I give people something to listen to.
I suppose that's all from the Producer's Desk for the moment. I would like to thank my friends, my friends at Owensboro Public Access and my friends at Open Door TV for their continued support and I would like to thank Kilgore Trout and all the beavers.
Before, I leave, allow me a shameless promotion. I have a very good friend in the LA area named Sonya Kahn. I realize that I'm biased in her favor, but, if you go by her website or her Myspace profile, I think you agree with me that she is a great musician and singer. She'll be releasing her first CD soon and I can hardly wait.
Till later, folks,
Good health, good fortune and now good night.

1895 : Louis & August Lumiere demonstrate cinematograph
Louis and Auguste Lumiere give the first public demonstration of the cinematograph. The French brothers patented the combination movie camera/projector in February. The brothers later produced the first film newsreels and what some consider the world's first movie, "Workers Leaving the Lumiere Factory."
"My idea of an educated person is one who can converse on one subject for more than two minutes." "I wasn't kissing her, I was whispering in her mouth." "Never get a mime talking. He won't stop." "How do I stay so healthy and boyishly handsome? It's simple. I drink the blood of young runaways." "Every path serves a purpose." "I grew up in Tennessee. We didn't know what Louis Vuitton was. I had to order all my prom outfits out of catalogs." - Reese Witherspoon
